A pinlock is an anti-fog system used in motorcycle helmets that consists of a clear, flexible silicone-sealed insert that fits inside the helmet's visor. The pinlock creates a double-glazed effect by trapping a layer of air between the main visor and the insert, which prevents condensation from forming on the inside of the visor during temperature changes or when the rider's breath creates moisture.
